Baan Chivit Mai is founded
BCM is founded by Eva Olofsson in KlongToey in the slum of Bangkok.
1989ChiangRai
BCM starts an organization in Northern Thailand. BCM rents wooden houses and the organization takes off from there.
1994Huadoi
The opening of the home at Huadoi takes place
1997Eden
The HIV-infected children move in at the Eden Home
2001Phayagong
The opening of the home in Phayagong, high up in the mountains, takes place
2002The bakery
BCM opens their own bakery in downtown ChiangRai
2002A royal visit
The Swedish King and Queen visit Huadoi.
2003The Ekelyck's are handed the torch
Eva Olofsson, the founder of BCM, passes the torch to Inge and Madeleine Ekelyck as heads of BCM
2005The bakery is expanding
BCM bakery opens up a new and bigger place where they also offer food
2005MaeChan
The opening of the home in MaeChan takes place. Over 30 children move in right away.
2006New directors
Meechai and Khannika Wongvoravit are assigned new directors.
2008MaeSuay
The home in MaeSuay is built and the children in Phayagong move in
2010MaeChan stängs
The MaeChan home closes due to air pollution and the children move in to Huadoi
2011BCM-Sweden is founded
The collection foundation BCM Sweden is founded
2012New directors
Knut-Inge and Anne-Grete Bergem are assigned new directors
2012ChildFriend takes over BCM-Sweden
The collecting foundation Child Friend is founded and takes over BCM-Sweden in Sweden
